I think her mom and myself have a certain understanding. We both care for Kiko in a certain loving way, and would do almost anything for her, but won't admit it. There's some weird thing in their family where you don't say, "I love you" out loud. You just know it. But you can tell by the way she talks to Kiko and interacts with Kiko that she cares.Kiko is built like her mom, with the roundness in the face like her dad.
Kiko's mom and I both sort of understand what makes Kiko tick, though there are surprises. She sort of goes with whatever she feels that day. Or at that moment.
I sort of get her mom as well. We're always there with her to support her through stuff when other people can't make it. Solo and ensemble we spent a lot of time outside her various musical judgings together. We both worry about her and care for her.
We get her, in other words.
